Site of the Week: kaspersky

What does kaspersky have to do with WoW you ask? The plain and simple truth is that these days Keyloggers have become an every day activity on the WoW forums. You get what looks like a legitimate link to “something cool” and being the curious person you are you click on it. Nothing happens but after a few days you go to log onto WoW to notice yu have been /gkicked or demoted and you standing in the middle of Shattrah City naked and with an empty bank and wallet. Your account has been hacked and they have taken you for all you have! The GM’s appear sympathetic(they are really laughing at you) and they offer to escalate the problem and hopefully get some of your gear back.

The unfortunate thing about this, I know people who has had this happen and many times they can not or will not get all of your stuff back. I ave even heard of people who get banned until the problem is resolved. The easiest way around this is to regularly run an anti-virus/spyware sweep of your computer on a regular basis. For doing so kaspersky is on of the favs, but there are a lot of options out there, feel free to look around.

After almost 2 weeks of constant dailies Jugzwei finally hit Exalted with the Shattered Sun Offensive. It was a long 2 weeks but very well worth it. The first thing I picked up was the SSO tabard to get rid of the God awful pink Tabard my guild insists on keeping. I also picked up Shattered Sun Pendant of Acumen and Recipe: Sorcerer’s Alchemist Stone Now to grin dfor the mats for it. They are ridiculous.

Check out the Tabard. Best in game IMO!

Its Mine!

I have actually had the Epic Flying Mount for a few days now. I’m just now getting around to updating because the game became so much more enjoyable once I had it. It took about a week of constant dailies and selling every thing that dropped to get it but the Epic flying mount is MINE!

Now on to the Netherwing Dailies!

Site of the Week: WoW UI Screens

Just about every forum associated with WoW has that POST YOUR UI thread. Admit it you love looking at them. You love comparing them to yours and you love the ideas you get sometimes. I have build just about every UI i have had around someone else’s because I’m just not that original or creative. This weeks Site of the week is my best friend, it is a site where everyone is welcome to post there UI to show it off to the world. WoW UI Screens allows you to break down UI’s by class or view them all. Users can leave comments on other UI’s and when you post your UI there is a place for you to describe it and list what add-ons you are using, which isn’t used much leading to the other post on just about every WoW forum, “which add-on is this?”
